We have had a surprising number of requests for a compressor-type fridge in a 10-15 litre size. At first sight, this may be a good idea, however, there is a big problem.The smallest mass produced refrigeration compressor occupies about 15 litres. If you were to make a fridge with 15 litres of storage capacity, and the other half had a 15 litre compressor, fully 50% of the fridge volume would be non-storage.
